I’ve wanted something like this for AGES.

The ability to control my iPod from my computer… What was needed was a VNC Server for the iPod. Well thanks to the legendary Saurik, this is now possible.

Step 1: Load up Cydia and search for Veency. Install it.

Step 2: Go back to your Spingboard, open Settings. Tap “Wifi” and tap on the blue arrow next to your connected Wifi Hotspot. You’ll see here it says “IP Address” - You’ll need this for a future step.

Step 3: Download UltraVNC or TightVNC - Find out which one works best for you. Then, open the VIEWER - Not server.

Step 4: Type in your IP Address from Step 2, and select “ULTRA” for the fastest frame-rate refresh. Hit connect.

Step 5: Your device will show this message: Accept or Deny.

And voila! You’re now able to control your iPod from your PC!

Note: The IP address specified is fake. Also note, that if you right-click, it acts as pressing the Home Button.
