So when I heard about the release of the Hockey Scores (iTunes link) application, I literally jumped out of my seat. Released by Ting! Interactive, makers of the IOU application, this application simply provides you with the final scores of that day’s hockey games in the National Hockey League (NHL). This application may show ads once in a while, but that’s the beauty of free applications.

This application is perfect for me because I am an avid hockey fan, and I am also involved in fantasy hockey amongst a few different websites. With up to date final scores, I can watch my favorite team and catch up on the scores of other games without having to get off my seat and head to NHL.com. Simplicity at it’s best!
