What is great for some is horrid for others.
This has become quite an issue for consumers angry about spending $8 for an application then to have it go on sale for free a bit later! However, many, those who haven’t purchased the app, are especially happy with this practice since it saves them some coin
The developers, the ones who control their pricing for apps, either lower the price for greater sales, generate some buzz, holidays, or just for “kindness”
Lately, an applications that exemplify this little “issue” would be AquaForest. Originally, 7 USD, now FREE (Gets the point across I know
)
-Reason being, Tokyo Game Show 2008. Pricing ends October 21before original price is reinstated.
As I have seen on different forums such as IPTF, many feel as though they’ve been cheated while others counter with the freedom of choice for the developer. On both sides, one argues dev freedom while the other has to do with customer satisfaction.
As always, it us up to the reader decide
Just a tip,
Patience is a Virtue
