It may be revolutionary - StatusNotifier has come to 2.x.
For those of you that don’t know, StatusNotifier displays an icon on your status bar when you have a new mail, missed call or sms.
In the same way, if you have an iPod Touch, it will display any emails you have unread.
The app refreshes every 60 seconds, which has its benefits and downsides:
Decreased battery life is inevitable…
But it refreshes faster than Apple’s own mail.app - So you’ll know if an email came within the minute, rather than having to wait for 15 minutes for your device to check.
The app creator, Zolee states:
“Hi All,
I’ve just released a initial version of a iPhone status bar notifier project.
It is the same as taskbarnotifier, but this works on iPhone v2.
Hopefully soon it will be up on MMi repo.
Project: statusnotifier - Google Code
Zotyo.”
If you want it, check the MMi source on Cydia and look for StatusNotifier.
NOTE:
If you are experiencing problems with your exchange push mail. Download the updated version (0.1.1) from here and install it manually to fix the problem.
