Apple orders parts for new device?

100 million 8 gigabit NAND flash chips have been placed on Apple’s order form for 2009. This is almost double the amount that Apple ordered last year. And June is just around the corner, hinting at a new release.

Apple fans can expect the probable release of the 3rd gen iPhone, with a 3.2 MP camera, video recording capabilities, a new textured back and multi-core processor. That is - if all the rumors are true!
