New YouTube features with 3.0

The YouTube application has seen a makeover with the release of Firmware 3.0. You can now sign into the application using your YouTube account. Once signed in, you can view your subscribed videos and rate, report or comment on videos. Another key update is the ability to see the full details about every video instead of occasionally being cut off with “…” at the end of the description.

Up until now, many users have had to use the mobile YouTube website through Safari to suffice, but come June 2009 you will no longer have to do so. All the regular mobile YouTube features will be found right in the YouTube application.
