hey guys is realy impressive what you do with the programing thing. i know that this will sound stupid, but i would like to know what kind of carrer did you take to be able to do what you do, i know that is programing but i want know the real name.
i will like to learn al this and help the people hacking staff. i’m just a spanic guy that want to be a hacker, please give an idea how can i start and i promes that i’ll put all my heart and soul on it.

Rony, you should go to http://blog.iphone-dev.org because they’re the real programmers/developers. We’re just a blog and we aren’t the ones making the jailbreak.

Okay, I figured out a way to patch winterboard. Instead of following all the steps outlined per seang5041. Go to cydia, installed winterboard, then closed cydia without “pressing reboot device”. Instead, just reboot your ipod touch manually. When your ipod touch is restarting with apple icon loading up. Your screen will pretty much freeze. Now, you will have to put it in DFU mode and then use ‘Discovery’ to reboot your ipod touch. AFter that, winterboard should work. I tested and it works! There you go, have fun guys.
