After the long wait, 2.2 was released on the 21st of November (Friday) and it brought a lot of new features:

• Over-the-Air Podcast downloads (even video!)
• Street View for iPhone only.
• Louder 2G iPod Speaker.
• Ability to take screenshots of your lock screen.
• No emoji icons (yet).
• Waking directions on Maps.

Plus, users can also download iTunes 8.0.2! At the Dev Team’s discretion, 3G iPhone users who want a soft jailbreak must NOT update to 2.2 or 8.0.2 YET.
