REVIEW: Kroll.

by Abcmsaj on 30 Sep 2008

The Digital Legends released Kroll last night, and after getting all night and most of today to play on it, I’ve decided to write a review for you guys on what I think of it.

The game is priced at £4.99 ($8 or $10) and the screenshots on the iTunes page don’t do it any justice. The opening graphics are amazing, and I recieved a strong impression within 20 seconds of opening the app.

The main screen is brilliant - Tap on one of the side tabs and the page flicks over beautifully to show the Help or Credits page.

The gameplay has 3 difficulties - Normal, Hard and Insane. Personally, the only level I can achieve success in is Normal… But I’m rubbish.

There are 3 chapters too, respectively I, II and III.

Now - The gameplay.

The controls are very easy - Move, Light Strike, Heavy Strike. You can see them washedout on either side of the screen. The aim is to get to the end of the course by killing everything in your way. Then you get to a boss - But I won’t go too much into that coz I want you to.. :)

Overall, it’s a very good game and worth the £5 (I can genuinely say that) - Long awaited and totally worth it.

9/10.
