The App Store now requires purchase or download of an application before a review can be written.

This is great news for the developers who had the reputation of their applications tarnished by,
“I WANT IT FREE!”
“Are You Crazy.”
“No….just No.”

By having the app purchased, we are bound to get responsible, accurate reviews that truly measure the application’s worth.
This is definitely a step in the right direction by Apple :)

The quality of the reviews will be better, but this is a bit optimistic.

But the timing of the change was perfect for me. THETA Poker, the strongest Texas Hold ‘Em game on the iPhone, should appear in the App Store any day now, and I welcome all the positive, unbiased reviews.

My basis for this focuses around the idea that users will actually be using the application rather than just going by ignorant observations.

Of course in a perfect world, this would eliminate all biases, but we know that won’t be happening xD.
    It will vary.

If I’m correct you are the dev of THETA Poker, so I doubt you will be critical of you’re app if you were to review it ;)

I’ll be looking forward to the apps, you probably have your first buyer!

Thanks for the suggestion by the way :)
