Now this is exciting! There are rumors flying around the web about the new version of iTunes, 8.0, which people are hoping will be announced in September. Apparently this update will be HUGE, adding heaps of new features. Although not many of them are known right now, one is the idea of music subscription. You pay about $150 and get unlimited music for a year from the iTunes store. Sounds pretty awesome!

Apparently it will be needed to get the new firmware for iPod Touch’s and iPhones aswell, 2.1. Firmware 2.1 is suppost to add major upgrades in stability and reception.
